Biswo Ulak has a master’s degree in political science from the Tribhuvan University, postgraduate studies in Human Resources Studies from Manchester University, and a diploma in business administration and commerce from the Tribhuvan University of Nepal. He has worked in the Nepal Government and international development agencies over the four-decade in different fields and has a proven track record of driving growth and consequences in the position he has held. He has a strategic vision and passion to lead and participate in right-based approaches, team working, cultural appropriateness, respecting diversity principles, and conflict sensitivity. He respects others’ voices and opinions with risk analysis, market demand, and organizational compliance for decision-making with the maximization of available resources.
He is engaged with local philanthropy since 1997 for community development and advocating for cultural peace walks since 2017 accompanying local agencies. Presently, he is holding advisory positions in a few local NGOs making organizations and is a founder member of the Bhrikuti Memorial Academy. He has published a few articles on culture and tourism in international journals in English and published some articles on culture, tourism, and development in national publications in the Nepali language.
Bhakta Raj Bharati was born in the same premises where Bhrikuti was born and exuded, the Narasingha Math, Khopasi, Panauti Municipal – 10, Kavre, Bagamti Province. He has successfully completed multiple projects for building and restoring historical monuments, especially in Khopasi. His aim is to bring light to the historic significance of those monuments that got lost through the generations. He is excited to contribute his energy to peace and social work in his community linking to the nation and the globe in the days to come. Currently, he is striving towards renovating the premises where Bhrikuti was born. He has been working in the hospitality industry since 1997.
Man Bahadur Tamang is from Sarlahi District, Madhesh Province, Nepal with Graduation in Arts and Humanities from Tribhuvan University. He has good faith in peace and Buddhism and has successfully accomplished a position of Member in Lumbini Development Board and Boudha Nath Ghyang Guthi. He is one of the active members in the sector of Buddhism and Peace. He is also a successful businessman representing an international infrastructure business for Nepal.
Maya Bade Shrestha was born in Dakshu Tole of Banepa Municipality of Kavrepalanchowk, District, Nepal. She has a Master’s Degree in Arts and Humanities. She has four decades of experience in administration and programme management of local development serving for the District Development Committee office, Nepal Government. She has engaged, organized and led different types of events for promoting women’s empowerment, low-income communities, human rights agencies, religious institutes towards modern society, etc. She is an active member of Bhrikuti Smriti Pratisthan.
Shailendra Bahadur Thapa was born in Swayambhu of Kathmandu and presently resides at Tallo Kharikobot, Koteswor of Kathmandu. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Post Graduate degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Public Administration, a Master’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s degree in Education. Currently, he is studying Master’s in Buddhism and Sustainable Development and enrolled in Ph.D. in Political Science: “China-Nepal Relation”. He has research experience since 2013 in different subjects and is teaching Political science. He has published a number of articles on Buddhism, Bhrikuti, and Nepal-China relations including book publications on Buddhism and Bhrikuti.
Chandra Badan Bijukchhe is a retired school teacher and a housewife who participates in social work and peace-building campaigns. She is pursuing a career in social advocacy, in order to work towards making the world a more equitable place. She looks forward to seeing what more she can learn about the intelligence of 8 years little girl princess Bhrikuti who has influenced unknown people with Buddha’s peace sermon and cultural peace art delivered by a 16 years young boy Araniko. She lives in Hattiban, Khumaltar of Lalitpur Metropolitan ward no 15 of Lalitpur district of Nepal.
Bhushan Kumar Shrestha is an energetic young person advocating change. He has graduated in humanities and science from Tribhuvan University. He is leading an Automobile journal promoting suitable vehicles for Nepal. He has patronage to support the poor and handicapped and respect senior citizens. He is from Khopasi, Panauti Municipality 10 of Bagmati Province, the same community where Bhrikuti was born and exuded for Tibet of China in the 6th century.
Deva Laxmi Sainju is from a historic heritage city “Panauti”. She has graduated in Humanities from Tribhuvan University. She has experience in teaching for several years and extensive experience of the management of saving and credit cooperatives from the establishment to operations. She is a good practitioner of meditation and campaigns for peace. She loves volunteering for the development of society and helping poor incompetent senior citizens. She is an active member of this institute.
Ganesh Paunju has financial management experience of four decades from the ministry of finance, Nepal Government. He has a good experience in revenue collection and fund flow for development expenditure. He has graduated in Business Administration and Commerce from Tribhuvan University and had a number of financial trainings in-country and abroad. He is from Pange Tole, Khopasi of Panauti Municipality -10, Bagmati Province where Bhrikuti was born and exuded for Tibet of China.
